my big problem with all this stuff is, the system that they are saying is systemically racist and dysfunctional is also the system that has resulted in the progress they say is reflected in tbings like diversity of football - DEI wasnt around until very recently so how did football progress without it? Talent, hard work and focusing on quality NOT identity. That would imply the system is capable of progress as they see it....Why is it necessary to accelerate this process in a way that may discriminate in the opposite direction? I think a reason board rooms arent as diverse is that yes, minorities have been traditionally from poor socio economic backgrounds and have not been able to penetrate the corporate world at same level as sport (just like working class white people i might add). In time though this may also diversify naturally.

I'd like to think about people like it's a knife. If you are a kid, and you are stupid, that's ok. Kids just don't have an expierience in they life yet. they are like a blunt knife. If your knife is blunt, then you can't slice meat with it propertly, but that doesn't mean that it useless and you need to throw it away. It just mean you need to sharp it. It takes time and effort, but knife will be sharp in the end. But if you are adult, and you still look like a blunt knife, that means you waste the most important resource of your life on stupidity. And a kichen where all knifes is blunt are disgusting. It makes even a easiest work longer, makes it harder, less effective. And even more - it makes result worst. Do many of the over 13 million illegal immigrants who have entered our country, (many flown in at taxpayer expense through government funded NGO's), receive benefits and PRIVILEGES above and beyond what even many homeless American veterans currently receive, or many of the lower income, tax paying, law abiding citizens in Detroit for example, receive? Free healthcare, free education, free housing, free child care and the list goes on, including loans for businesses from the government, as I just saw a video and read several articles on this recently.
